The Radnor Township School Board on Aug. 25 voted 7-1 to authorize its consultants to proceed to design development for renovating the district administration building at 135 S. Wayne Avenue, with schematic-design costs estimated at $23.4 million by consultant SCHRADERGROUP. One board member was absent. The planned design includes a room where the board could hold its own meetings, which currently take place in the Radnor Township Municipal Building.
Vanguard Sells 323,000-Square-Foot DiStefano Tech Center in Wayne to E. Kahn Development for $17M
E. Kahn Development Corp. of Malvern paid $17 million, or $52.63 per square foot, for the Robert A. DiStefano Technology Center in Wayne, according to a Commercial Real Estate Direct report on the Aug. 25 sale. The 323,000-square-foot office complex was sold by The Vanguard Group.
Radnor Elementary Names Dr. Christine Bryan as Principal
The RTSD board approved Dr. Christine Bryan as principal of Radnor Elementary School on Aug. 25, and she began the role on Aug. 26 at a prorated salary of $156,000, according to Patch. Bryan, most recently the assistant principal at Ithan Elementary School, succeeds Dr. Nancy Young, who left for a director role in the Octorara Area School District.
