Commissioners Approve North Wayne Parklet; Work Now Set for a Single Spring 2027 Phase
The Radnor Board of Commissioners on Sept. 14 voted unanimously to authorize the North Wayne Parklet, converting part of a Wayne business-district parking lot into passive recreation space. The Inquirer reports that after community feedback the project will now take place in a single phase in the spring, rather than the two phases originally planned to begin this fall. Township Manager Bill White said the $155,000 estimate will be re-priced when the project goes out to bid.

SEPTA Releases 10-Year Accelerate Vision for Regional Rail and Metro
On September 22 SEPTA released its Accelerate strategic vision including 230 new Silverliner VI Regional Rail cars, 15-minute service at nearly half of Regional Rail stations, and expanded station accessibility. Bryn Mawr Woman Charged with Felony Stalking in Radnor Township Case
Radnor Township Police say a Bryn Mawr woman is facing a felony stalking charge and related counts after camera footage allegedly showed her damaging a vehicle and taking a delivered package in separate incidents in August. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 5. The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
Radnor Police Log: Vehicle Theft, Library Theft Reported
A green Ford Bronco was reported stolen from 236 N. Radnor Chester Road at Pietro's on Sept. 22, and a theft was reported at the Radnor Memorial Library, 114 W. Wayne Ave., late Sept. 17, according to Sector 7 dispatch summaries.
Eastern University Sexual Assault Case: Preliminary Hearing Set for Sept. 24
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for September 24 at Delaware County District Court for two men charged in the February assault of a student in an Eastern University residence hall, with a third man facing invasion-of-privacy counts related to recording.
